The Chadar Trek or the Zanskar Gorge is a winter trail in the Zanskar region of Ladakh, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Traditionally the only means of travel in the area during the harsh winter months, the trail has become popular with international adventure tourists. Walking on the ice-covered river of Zanskar is an ultimate experience for adventure freaks that are keen to do trekking in the Indian Himalayas. This trek is also named as Chadar trek, which means blanket. At places, the Chadar (ice sheet) does not form over the river. Then, the trekkers have to forge a new trail trekking over snow-covered banks to move down to a spot on the Zanskar river, where the ice is more stable.       Kugti Pass Trek, Himachal Pradesh





The beauty about this trek is that it is virtually unexplored. Kugti Pass is located near the scenic hamlet of Kugti in Himachal Pradesh. Roopkund is a high altitude glacial lake in the Uttarakhand state of India. A shallow lake, having a depth of about two metres, Roopkund has attracted attention because of the human skeletal remains that are visible at its bottom when the snow melts. Roopkund is a high-altitude glacial lake and the folklore surrounding this lake is spine-chilling and attracts the interests of many adventure enthusiasts. Because of the human remains, the lake has been called Skeleton Lake in recent times.



      Pin Parvati Pass Trek




The Pin Parbati Pass is a mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh, India, at 5,319 meters. t is a popular trekking route today. An Army expedition attempted the 155 km route in 2013. Pin Parvati Pass trek falls in tough treks as one has to walk over the glaciers in the Parvati Valley in Kullu and Pin Valley in Spiti. Starting from Manikaran, this trek passes through several villages as well as breathtaking mountains, verdant meadows and stunning lakes. As the trekker treks upstream of Parvati river, he comes across the glaciers. Tourist explores Spiti Valley and its monasteries before going back to Manali through Kaza and Rohtang Pass. Near the end of  trek, you also experience the hot water springs at Parvati Kund at Kheerganga. Words cannot describe the experience of a hot water bath here after a hard day of trekking.


    Singalila Kanchenjunga Trek




Kangchenjunga, also spelled Kanchenjunga, is the third highest mountain in the world. It lies between Nepal and Sikkim, India, with three of the five peaks. From the Singalila Ridge, one can see a huge vista of peaks stretching for 700 kilometers. This striking trek is also considered one of the excellent treks due to the natural beauty that is on display here. The Singalila Ridge, near Darjeeling, offers outstanding view of Kanchenjunga- world’s third highest peak. From Singalila, there is a long but highly interesting approach to Goecha-La pass below Mt. Kangchenjunga. An extra advantage is that the elevation gain is more gradual, and there is ample time to familiarize oneself to the climate. A trek which one will be the most memorable in Himalayan wilderness. Best time to visit here is Mid March to May or September to October.


      Mandani Valley Trek





Mandani valley is one of the most beautiful valley of flowers in the Garhwal ranges of the Himalayas and that is why it’s one of the offbeat treks in India that you must set off for. For starters, this trek is an extremely challenging high altitude trek and could take anywhere from 8 to 9 days. It is one of the least travelled and least explored trekking trails. According to others ancient story, It is believed that Pandavas passed through with same place during their journey to Swargarohini.
