MERRY CHRISTMAS Christmas is an annual festival, commemorating the birth of Jesus Chris, on December 25. Christmas Day is a public holiday in many of the world's nations,is celebrated religiously by a majority of Christians, as well as culturally by many non-Christians. Every year Christmas people celebrate Christmas all over the world. The practise of putting up special decorations at Christmas has a long history. In the 15th century, it was recorded that in London it was the custom at Christmas for every house and all the parish churches to be "decked with helm, ivy, bays, and whatsoever the season of the year afforded to be green".
